Color Beauty Magic

Color Beauty Magic

As part of practice, Rune and Fae celebrates life using color theory magic with all of our mystic products. I use all natural plant magic to get all the bright spectrum of colors that you will see in the soaps, lotions, oils, and candles. Every color that exists, exists in nature and we can use these plants to emanate different emotions, vibes, and presence that we can use intentionally to craft our own unique experience.

For example, if you want to invoke more relaxed, calm, and gentle atmosphere you could wear the color blue. It's helpful to wear when the skin is inflamed. Additionally you would also eat blue foods if the insides of the body were inflamed, as blue foods contain Anthocyanins, organic compounds found in blue foods and flowers that give the their color. These compounds have the ability to transform light into electric energy, sending a magnetic vibration outwards of its own intent.

You can use color in so many ways. When it comes to magic I will use it on my clothes, hair, nails, make-up, paint on the walls, decoration, even the color of your car carries a particular energy.

Let's break down all the colors and their respective energy vibrations.

The color white which appears hue-less, or void of color represents a sense of purity, clarity, and peace. You will see many spiritualists wear this color as representation of their benevolent intent, so it is great to use for angel work, and other forms of light work. I also associate it with purgatory, a final state of purification before entering heaven. Stillness, a blank page, or canvas to absorb light or absorb color or other energies. I also associate white with the moon, snow, and the number 0 - ZERO.

Red is a very powerful color that speaks for itself. It begets power, passion, desire, action, lust, courage, action, and anger. Even if you think of things that are red in nature; blood, fire, the sunset, you will see why this is a color of intensity and direct meaning. It is great to use for motivation, initiation, and many others use it for various forms of occult magic. It is connected to the root chakra, and triggers primal instinct which makes it an excellent conduit of energy. Associated with Aries, Mars, fire, volcanoes, and the number 1 - ONE.

To be true is to be blue, and the number two. Blue is such a basic color that holds an incredible amount of depth. Think of the ocean, and the sky, it makes up nearly everything around us. because of that blue can be a very calming color, sometimes so calm it can also be associated with sadness, think of "the blues". The color blue is also very smart; many things related to knowledge, medicine, and communication are blue. The third eye chakra is represented by the color blue so I like to associate it with imagination as well. The Blue Raven Oil has blue tansy, blue eucalyptus, and blue yarrow and is intended to aid in mental clarity and to raise sharpness. Aquarius, Uranus, water, and 2 - TWO.

Yellow is a bright and stimulating color that it great for invoking joy, happiness, creativity, youthfulness, vitality, and expression. If you think of it, yellow is the only hue that does not come in a dark shade. No matter what yellow is going to uplift! it is perfect for adding excitement, brightness, and lifting the spirit and the mood. I also use it for stimulation to motivate myself. It is related to the solar plexus chakra, gemini and Leo, the sun, stars, electricity, light, alchemy (think GOLD), grandeur, kings, and the number of creation, 3 - THREE.

Green is free, keen, nature machine; for it is found the most in our plant world. It is the ultimate color that represents health, plants, and the earth. You can close your eyes and imagine this color, imagining a wet forest and the smell of creation. This color is most useful in my opinion for centering peace and tranquility, and healing eyesight. Because human beings evolved amongst the guardians of the earth, trees, when our eyes rest on trees they are fully relaxed and not producing much energy which allows them to heal. Green is related to money, the heart chakra, healing, the earth, Taurus, and the number 4 - FOUR.

The color orange is bright, exciting, and happy; a perfect combination of red and yellow, possessing both the powers of uplifting stimulation, and action oriented motivation. I associate it with creativity, summer, confidence, nerve, harmony, and expression. Wearing orange will definitely make you stand out and appear very artfully. It is related to Halloween, Leo, freedom, Jupiter, and the number 5 - FIVE.

Pink is another very happy color that mainly inspires love. All forms of love, self-love, romance, universal love can be inspired with this playful and delightful color. It's an excellent way to brighten the mood and atmosphere of a room by painting it this color and drawing femininity. Hearts, flowers, candy, babies, and the things that makes us feel softer and more loving are associated with pink. It represents the number 6 - SIX.

Purple is an excellently mystical color that inspires wisdom, magic, whimsy, and spirituality. It is also associated with royalty and intuition. You will see wizards, and dancers wear this color often, channeling the outer forces through their bodies. It represents the crown chakra, so you can use for divination, psychic communication, and inspiring confidence and dignity. It is associated with the number 7 - SEVEN.

Brown is found most commonly in all things on the planet earth including the dirt, plants, animals, human beings, wood, and mountains. Some of our most potently magical gifts and delicacies on earth including coffee, sugar, chocolate, spices, and clay. Because it is such a warm, comforting color, it invokes a sense of safety, relaxation, purity, and instinct. Not many things in nature are white. Most of what occurs naturally on earth is brown in color and this is how you know it possesses more potency and nutritional value. Because of its strength and use for structure this color is the number 8 - EIGHT.

Black is a quietly powerful color; the opposite of white, so saturated in all hues that it presents as a combination of everything, that is black. It is everything and nothing at the same time, a singularity (black hole), the infinite space that occupies our complete existence. Wearing black is slimming and can be portrayed as classic, understatedly powerful, and in connection with the shadow-realm. It also represents karma, transformation, mystery, and willpower. I associate black with scorpios, the new moon, death, and the final number, 9 - NINE.

Slate grey is not truly a color, more of a shade, a mix of both black and white. It possesses both the qualities of neutrality, balance, blankness, and simplicity. It is useful for influencing energy without interfering with it too much, so sensitivity work, stillness and not taking action, so resting, blending energies, and giving room for uncertainty. If you want to gain control of something that it out of control it is good to start here with grey. Associated with metal, steel, power, technology, the future, the moon, wealth, aliens, and the number 10 - TEN.

As you can see the color magic can get really intricate and can be a lot of fun. Try out some ways to use this magic in your daily life, and keep this in mind next time you are choosing your favorite Rune + Fae product what type of experience and healing you want to manifest. Have fun, and let me know how you are using color to brighten up your life!
